  • View Answers

Marking long answer questions

  • The long answer marking screen allows you to:

  • Select which long answer question you mark.

  • Change between participants in the participant list (this course only has one participant). This allows you to mark all responses for the one question at one time.

  • The model answer is provided, depending on what was included when the question was loaded should provide guidance on how to assess the participant responses.

  • You are able to leave comments for the participant towards the bottom of the screen and also the mark for the question response.

  • Ensure you save the mark before moving to another participant or another question.

Re-Sit Options

  • For those that did not start the test in the scheduled time you are able to open the test for individuals and schedule the test for a new time specifically for them.

  • For those that failed a test you can provide a re-sit option should you wish, this may be important for tests that are mandatory as a requirement for successful completion of the course

  • A re-sit icon will appear for those that have failed

  • Where additional tests were added as alternate options in the Master Course or Course Intake these will be able to be selected for individuals to complete as an alternate to the original test. If there are not alternate tests, the original test can be opened again for individuals to have a second attempt.

  • When a test is selected, you will need to schedule the test specifically for each individual

Sending Certificates

  • For those with access rights to send certificates you can click this option in the ‘Toggle Admin’ section of the course.

  • If there are mandatory Knowledge Tests required for successful course completion an additional column will be displayed in the email certificates area.

  • Participants that have completed all requirements will appear in the top part of the screen and you can select these to distribute certificates as normal.

  • Those that have not completed a test or failed a test will appear in the bottom part of the screen. When they have completed all requirements they will move into the top part and certificates can be created for them at that stage.
